Actually, the retreat is Marcus and Fiona's home and so it feels warm and cozy. Especially more so when Fiona is so accommodating and kind. She picked me up from the airport and sent me there the next day as well. Felt like visiting the home of a friend instead of spending a night at a B&B. Will definitely come back again if I return to Christchurch for another visit.

Musterers Accommodation Fairlie is located on the west boundary of Fairlie. The units are situated on a six-acre semi rural property, with animals to feed and plenty of grass areas to relax.

For an additional charge and by prior arrangement, you can enjoy your own private hot tub. The owners were so lovely and friendly! They greeted us when we got there, plus made sure to check up on us before we left. The location was nice and quiet, the accommodation was clean, kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped, and there are alpacas and sheep you can feed after talking to the owners. There is also an outdoors hot tub for an extra fee. I wish we could have stayed there longer.
