Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. Lovely historical hotel. Great outdoor seating near fire. Very unique and country vibes. Great restaurant, great food. The atmosphere especially was so amazing. It was like you were transported to an old German countryside inn. Very one of a kind. Staff were so awesome. Very informative and helpful. The room and beds were clean and comfy, bathroom clean and generally clean.

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. The gentleman who helped us to check in is very friendly and helpful, we got our best meal in New Zealand under his recommendation, thank you very much!

The property itself was lovely, tranquil, and romantic. Rooms were super clean and comfy. The food at the lodge restaurant was excellent. The staff members (all of them) were truly exceptional. Welcoming, kind, and thoughtful people. The evening wine tasting was superb. Our host was engaging and very knowledgeable about all of the wines from the region. She made us feel welcome.
