We went kayaking and there was no one else there. Morning cruise when the sun was rising and we were the only boat there… will never forget this. When we come back, we’ll definitely book an overnight cruise again.

Our host also took some money off our stay when she heard my parents had been unable to make the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, which was unexpected and ever so kind!

This place is perfect in so many ways. Host meeting you on arrival - staff appear whether you wander out of your room and ask if they can assist. Amazing service. Every member of the team was perfectly polite, engaging, and responsive. They will organise anything that you want - trips across the surrounding area. One couple had a helicopter trip and it literally landed on the lawn of the place. That is defeintly the way to end a long day! Location - stunning is the word you will probably read most about this place. And it actually is. Room - we had the room with the terrace - I would book this again - as you walk straight out from your room into a courtyard which is in the shade and sun in the afternoon. This is an all-inclusive accommodation - it has to be as it is a trek from the local towns. The food was extremely good. It was never too much or too little the chief has got the balance right. At the end of the trip I left items in the room (very annoyed with myself) the owner looked after them and made sure we got them back. Everything was amazing

Located adjacent to Lake Te Anau, Tasman Holiday Parks - Te Anau offers a children’s playground, a hot tub and BBQ facilities. All accommodation features a flat-screen TV. Guests enjoy 500 MB of free WiFi per day. The whole facility is really nice. Easy parking. We opted to use the hot tub which was so relaxing with a gorgeous view. Everyone was so friendly. We wished we could stay longer!

Te Anau Top 10 Holiday Park and Motels are 2 minutes’ walk from Te Anau’s restaurants, bars and shops. Guests enjoy a communal lounge area with a log fireplace and a 48-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Staff were so friendly and location to town centre is perfect. Ollie is a highlight too. We love seeing him.
