We used it as a base for snowboarding Ohau and treble cone. The fireplace & hot tub were a massive hit for us after the hill. Star gazing was also impeccable from the back yard! We also checked out the lake nearby (recommended from the host in their welcome book) and had a quick cold water plunge. Whole experience was excellent. Comfy beds. We will be back.

One of our favourite stays on a 3 week trip around the South Island! If anything the photos don’t do it justice. Peaceful and private with plenty of space and beautifully clean. We loved having BBQs on the terrace. The master bedroom was exquisite with a view onto the patio and the outdoor bath surrounded by fragrant lupins. The upstairs bedrooms were kept nicely cool by fans in the hot weather we were lucky to have. We all slept brilliantly in the big comfy beds. Laundry facilities were an added bonus for us, neatly tucked away behind sliding doors in the master - very convenient.

Musterers Accommodation Fairlie is located on the west boundary of Fairlie. The units are situated on a six-acre semi rural property, with animals to feed and plenty of grass areas to relax. The owners were so lovely and friendly! They greeted us when we got there, plus made sure to check up on us before we left. The location was nice and quiet, the accommodation was clean, kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped, and there are alpacas and sheep you can feed after talking to the owners. There is also an outdoors hot tub for an extra fee. I wish we could have stayed there longer.

Just a 2-minute walk from beautiful Lake Tekapo, Lexi's Lodge features mountain views and a private garden with outdoor furniture. Really tidy and cozy place. Great for family to have a holiday here.

The hot tub was a great feature for relaxing and star gazing. Sarah was awesome. The decor while simple was just right and felt very warm.

This was an amazing place to stay. A wonderful secluded location on a huge farm in the middle of the Dark Sky Preserve with views of mountains all around. Very unique details such as a switch to change the sky lights from opaque to transparent for looking at the stars and a private hot tub which is very clean with no chemicals. The beautifully constructed Silo has the conveniences you need for cooking and washing clothes. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting the Lake Tekapo area.

Best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The hot tub with snow surrounding mountains was a highlight, but the design and level of finishes was like nothing else we have stay in around the world. They have thought of everything and definitely couldn’t recommend this to anyone enough. We will be back.

From go to woh this place was awesome! John was super accommodating and helpful. It had everything we needed. Nice and warm - heat pump was good. Beds were comfy and toasty warm. Hot tub was brilliant and super easy to operate. It whole place has a real retro feel to it so very nostalgic! Was a bit like walking into our grandparents place 30-40 years ago - so awesome :). I will definately be bringing my wee family back for a weekend stay :). Thank you soo much John!
