It’s a fabulous place to be both active and relax: it’s right on the Queen Charlotte Track, we borrowed the kayaks, and we swam in the water. We also enjoyed sitting in the hammocks and relaxing in the hot tub. The food was delicious (though I found the prices a bit high for NZ) and enjoyed in their lovely dining room or patio. The service was great! We can’t wait to come back!

The bedrooms and common areas were very well equipped with absolutely everything you’d need and more. Mandy was a dream host, very communicative and helpful. We’ll be coming back !

The view from my room was beautiful. Such a relaxing environment. The common kitchen has all the cooking tools you'd need and is super clean. There are great books to exchange. Minimal bugs.

We hadn't realised there were so many activities to do and could have added in another day. The food at the restaurant was good. Our room was spotless. It was quite basic but that reflected that it was the cheapest accommodation we had when doing the Queen Charlotte Sound and it met all of our needs. Thanks for a great stay at a beautiful spot!
