This property sits in the middle of the vineyards. All within easy reach by car or taxi. It was tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed the fantastic views with sundowners each evening sitting outside the cottage. The smell of the lavender added to the mood. Afterwards we lit the stove inside. Jason came with more logs and kindling in case we ran out. At a reasonable extra cost we ordered a charcuterie platter one evening. It was generous in size and delicious. Fresh eggs from their own hens were provided in the cottage along with milk, bread, butter/jam/marmalade. On leaving we needed a large taxi for all our luggage for the airport which Jason organised for us the night before we left.

Mandy and Patrick were fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome. The pod was nice and cosy (it was lovely having such a large bed) and the sunset was stunning. Mandy’s breakfast was lovely, including homemade jam and marmalade, and it was great to be able to hire bikes to explore the vineyards.

We loved everything about our stay at Lochmara Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.

Just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre, Blenheim Spa Motor Lodge offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with a flat-screen TV and over 50 satellite channels. loved our stay, wish we were here longer. spacious, nice balcony area, comfortable bed. working ac. spa bath was wonderful after a long day of hiking. kitchen was well equipped. dining area. clean. great wifi. staff was lovely.

It wasn't far from shops, restaurants, etc. It was exceptionally clean and Brad has done an excellent job enabling people like us to enjoy his Airbnb. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Loved it and would definitely stay again. I was a little disappointed that we only had one night there. Thanks for everything Brad.

They provided homemade bread and fresh eggs from their chickens as well as honey that Max had made.. The view from the balcony was beautiful over the town of Picton and the Queen Charlotte sound. The apartment was big and comfortable, modern and well equipped. A great experience because of their warmth and hospitality.
