The location is between Auckland and Rotorua that is suitable to stay one night to unwind and join the hobbiton movie set tour next day. The dinner and breakfast are yummy.

You will have two queen beds and two single beds in a two-floor room. Kids love playing up and down the stairs, and it was undoubtedly the best stay throughout our North Island trip in NZ. The personal spa jacuzzi in the room was another standout feature of this stay. There is also an on-property playground for the kids. The room was clean, comfortable and complete.

Featuring a hot tub, Superb studio retreat with Spa, Pool & BBQ access is situated in Whanganui. The property features garden views. The property is non-smoking and is set 47 km from RNZAF Base Ohakea. Unfortunately we only stayed here one night on our way to Wellington as I would dearly have loved to stay longer in this little gem of a property. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, adding so many little extras which made it truly a wonderful place to stay. Situated in their garden, surrounded by nature, the property had a wonderfully comfy bed, great shower, good cooking facilities and lovely outside seating. We were offered a swim in the pool and use of the Bbq which unfortunately we didn't have time to try. I would totally recommend staying here and certainly would love to return

Housed in a building dating from 2023, this apartment is 2.5 km from Sculptureum and 38 km from Gibbs Farm. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. We loved our stay at Matakana Luxury, it is the perfect romantic getaway! It was so easy to get to from Auckland and is the most perfect location in the heart of Matakana Village. We wanted to explore the area and it was only 5 mins to Omaha Beach and 15 to Tawharanui regional park. The gorgeous outdoor baths and comfy beds were an amazing bonus! Thanks to the hosts for accommodating the best anniversary weekend ever!
