Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. One of the top things we did on our 5 week journey in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Couldn’t recommend enough. It was so special to stay in the sound for a night, only our boat. We went kayaking and there was no one else there. Morning cruise when the sun was rising and we were the only boat there… will never forget this. When we come back, we’ll definitely book an overnight cruise again.

They allowed us to charge our EV for an extra fee, which was super convenient for us. We will definitely come back

NOTHING to complain about as long as you are aware, that there is no infrastructure such as restaurants, shops, etc in walking distance. Very quiet (except the ocean) place to find your inner peace!

We truly did not want to leave (even in the rain)! I cannot praise the hosts or this apartment enough! The decor and furnishings were absolutely wonderful and made such an inviting and enjoyable environment. And the outdoor space: SPECTACULAR VIEWS, great table as well as seating area - and a hot tub! We were just stunned when we arrived to the 270 degree view. The pantry was really well stocked: cereals, milk, wine, chocolate, etc. -- above and beyond any other place we stayed on the trip!! The 'chilly bin' and water bottles were quite handy to borrow for our day trip to Milford Sound. If you needed something, it was likely there. Plus Susanna was a lovely host - she met us when we arrived and provided a great overview.
