Comfortable Accommodation: Escape in New Plymouth offers a bed and breakfast with one bedroom and a living room. The property features a sun terrace, garden, and open-air bath. Escape is a fantastic b&b, a lot of care and thought has clearly gone into the design and layout of the property. Very comfortable bed, huge clean hot shower, an outdoor bath that runs very hot to do some stargazing at night. Fantastic set up and zero complaints!

Location was good for us as it is only a few minutes from the Mt Egmont National Park where we went hiking. Eltham is an interesting old village, one of the first dairying places in NZ with many old buildings and antique shops. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, providing breakfast and dinner as we arrived on a Sunday and there was not a lot open nearby. The building and rooms are absolutely amazing - the best on our trip in NZ, a 1900 building meticulously renovated and luxuriously appointed, extremely comfortable.

Auto Lodge New Plymouth offers a restaurant, bar, heated pool and hot tub, just 5 minutes’ walk from Fitzroy Beach. I was very surprised given the price. The room was very nice, the restaurant was great and so was the location. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely be staying here.

The 4-star Plymouth International offers contemporary studios, deluxe king studios and dual living Plymouth Suites complete with double spa bath. The Hotel Plymouth International exceeded my expectations! For the price, it’s a fantastic place to stay. The pool was great, the staff was friendly and the room was surprisingly spacious. I especially loved the large shower, the great storage space for luggage and the very comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again!
