The houses are located just by the lake with a wonderful view, in a very calm and relaxing area. They are clean, and furnished as at home with all necessary equipment. The manager was super friendly and helpful with recommendations about attractions and places to eat nearby. We would definitely stay longer and come back again.

My husband and I stopped over for the night at Cathy’s place and we couldn’t have asked for more. The check in was super easy and the location was perfect for us, away from the bustle of the city yet close enough to get there. The area is peacefully quiet. Cathy’s an incredible host who goes all out to make the stay at her place a five star experience. She’s put thought into everything from the comfort of the room to ensuring we were well fed before we headed out for the day. If you’re ever passing through Hamilton I recommend staying at Tamahere Lifestyle.

Excellent accommodation, well appointed and spacious, everything you need for a holiday stay. Great garage parking which was a bonus. Host supplied great instructions also on access etc. Top location, super close to the beautiful lake and easy walk to town..steaming bean coffee van just down the road on the lake too, win win. Highly recommend for a Taupo stay.

Absolutely amazing. Cozy, warm, clean, spacious, luminous, lovely owner. One of the best place I've stayed. This was my base camp to explore Hobbiton, Waitomo caves and Roturoa. If I come back I would redo exactly the same!

Very private and modern one bedroom cottage located next to the original house, and continental breakfast supplied which came in handy as we had to leave early for our tour at Hobbiton. Beautiful garden and very friendly hosts which gave us tips on how to break the algorithms on the internet to get a last minute booking for the next day, to get on a tour around Hobbiton - which had been sold out up to that point.
