The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. Food was absolutely wonderful, it’s the true highlight of our stay. We LOVED their food - amazing breakfast and amazing dinner. Service is next level - super friendly, very attentive and caring. We’re usually always cold and freezing so they took extra care to ensure our room was warm all times, this is what we appreciate.

The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

Great hotel with a stunning garden and excellent facilities. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and relaxing. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant was delicious! I highly recommend it.

The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were clean, comfortable. The food was good too. Our stay was amazing. Great value for the money too. I would highly recommend!!

Very stylish design, inspired by the local architecture. Irreproachable services, with a helpful and pleasant personnel, most diverse breakfast of all the 4 hotels we stayed in Peru, a superb choice of dishes and cocktails throughout.

Part of Tierra Viva Hotels Chain, this property is located in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, 60 km from the centre of Cusco and only 11 km from Ollantaytambo, the starting point to explore... Fantastic place. Staff was very helpful and friendly- especially the reception staff. Clean rooms with big comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

Set in a historical building just 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas square, this luxury boutique hotel offers spacious suites with free WiFi. It features a spa and outdoor swimming pool. The care that has been taken to restore this Hotel is a credit to the owner. The attention to detail, the space, the location and of course, the food. The staff are fabulous, the service so good. I can highly recommend Casa Cartagena Boutique and Spa.
