Casa Amazonas was an amazing place that I stumbled upon. It was so peaceful, all of the facilities were immaculate, and the staff super attentive. The food they served was amazing and very healthy. We shared meals all together making it easy to meet and get to know other travelers. They also offered yoga classes three times a day and had other activities available for those on longer stays. I highly recommend this for a few days of respite after visiting Tambopata, I wish I had been able to stay for more time.

The stay in Casa Amazonas was a magnificent experience. I liked the hospitality of the owner and the many spaces to relax, doing yoga and meditate. I totally recommend this place to people who search something to disconnect from everyday life, find some relax and inner peace.
It's a wonderful place to refill your energies.
The breakfast was fresh tropical fruit, tea,coffee, bread rolls and choice of jams. Basic but served the purpose. Lounge area could access wifi.
Probably the best hotel in Pto Maldonado that I saw. It’s like many places, ok through the day, but probably better not going out alone at night.
