Island World Panglao is situated in Panglao, within 800 metres of Alona Beach. Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, this property is set near attractions such as Danao Beach. The houses are very comfortable overlooking the huge pool. Very quiet and peaceful. Food was good. The free rides to/from town is a huge bonus also the free transport to/ from airport. We had a late flight and they let us stay by the pool after check out. They offer great massages.

Extra credits given to its chefs that cook all meals in high quality, weekend Saturday happy hours is excellent during my stay. For me everything is meeting optimum and I will definitely visit again when I travel there!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the time. Facility can’t be better with super awesome stunning views. Lovely cats sneaked in our terrace several times and looked innocent. They care animals a lot and recommended us to visit tarsier sanctuary instead of the other commercially managed park, which I did respect. Philippine breakfast is recommended.

When we come to Panglao we always stay here. Quiet and far enough away from the noise of the centre, 4 mins from the airport. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else.

Food was great (we only had dinner on our last day, I would recommend trying it more often, it was really very good). Location is great, a bit off the main street so very quiet, however, all of Alona is still within walking distance. The room and especially the bathroom are clean and big. The whole atmosphere is very nice and the staff are so friendly!

The pool was a real highlight for us. We used it a lot. The room was exceptionally clean, had adequate space and nicely decorated. Of course, you are not alone on the property but we rarely saw our neighbours and when we did, they were super friendly so we felt very comfortable there. We enjoyed being away from the heave of Alona Beach but close enough to eat there if we wanted. I would certainly stay here again. It was great value for money.

Offering an outdoor pool, Polaris Beach and Dive Resort Inc is situated in Loon in the Bohol Region, 49 km from Cebu City. The resort features free WiFi. Nice place to stay on Cabilao island, away from the busy cities in Bohol. The gardens are wonderful, rooms are spacious and well equipped. The restaurant was good (special note to Carlo for the excellent service and for the pizzas) and we had some great times at the bar while watching stunning sunsets (again special note for Jonathan here). Definitively recommend this hotel, would have loved to stay longer!
