The pool was gorgeous, and the pool bar, food, drink, and staff were excellent. The grounds were amazing, it was like staying in a museum. The restaurants were delightful, the food delicious. The price for all these outstanding grounds, the room and accommodating service was incredible.

Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines!
