Most impressive was the Church that was still there and active, incorporated in the domain. One of the most beautiful Churches we saw on our trip in Portugal. Our hosts Leny and Jerome were brilliant and couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating! What a lovely little family (with little Edouard) who work incessantly to maintain the property and make the experience very personable and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and crepes, plus other savory items plus a glass of fresh pressed orange juice.

We loved it and felt instantly at home. When you turn on the heating, it is comfortable, even when it’s cold outside. We got a bottle of wine and cheese in the evening and warm bread in the morning.
