Every morning the Mar Hotel serves a buffet breakfast. Guests can relax in the sauna or plunge in the hot tub, or even work out in the gym. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea. We lay in bed at night with the door open and listened to the waves and watched the sunrise. The hotel was just outside the town but there is a lovely promenade outside which leads into the town. Pool towels are provided and there is a small gym (which we didn’t use as preferred to run along promenade). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Car parking available on site. There was a lovely restaurant next door to hotel on sea front which was lovely in the evening.

Free parking is available, upon request. This place is quite pleasant, with a charming old-fashioned design. The breakfast is good, though there's a bit of excess service – they bring a kettle of coffee, tea, and juice. It's not really a drawback, more of a minor point to note. The 24-hour access to a thermal pool is a major advantage. The highlight is the incredibly vast park surrounding the property. Overall, it's a delightful spot with a unique charm that extends beyond the accommodations.

The property features sea and garden views, and is 11 km from Pico do Carvao. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. I was happy with everything. Very nice suite.

We loved to come back to our lovely, spotlessly cleaned, decorated with amicable taste apt. which smelled nice. Complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch each day. Kitchen had everything we needed and beyond including Nespresso machine. The apt. was quiet and had a patio overlooking the horses. Our son took a beginner lesson riding a horse which was a cherry on top! Still talks about his experience and already misses Biscuit. The pool and jacuzzi area are well maintained. The breakfast made of local products was very good. We enjoined our stay thanks to a very welcoming and attentive staff. Thank you!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 2.7 km from Lagoa das Furnas. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We loved the surroundings of the accommodation and the fact that you have exclusive access to a wonderful garden. The apartment is comfortable, and the large windows frame the nature around you. We equally enjoyed the swimming pools, and my children safely played in the kids shallower pool. The staff was very kind and friendly. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

Great location- surrounded by nature but only a 20 minute walk into town. The building was gorgeous, and the staff was super helpful and kind. The jacuzzi and pool are excellent and we enjoyed relaxing out there.

The staff is super helpful and attentive. Great location in Ponta Delgada - we had a huge terrace with a sea view from the living room and a view of a beautiful old church from the bed room. Lovely breakfast with lots of healthy alternatives. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.
