Every morning the Mar Hotel serves a buffet breakfast. Guests can relax in the sauna or plunge in the hot tub, or even work out in the gym. Def highlight was the staff: one of the best! From the reception to cleaning personal, they all made sure that we have a great experience. First day, lady at the reception printed out an itinerary for the festival and brought it to our room, which we even have asked for! Once I mentioned that it was my boyfriends birthday week, reception and cleaning personal prepared the best surprise. On the last day, we needed a taxi at 5am and asked for reception to help us arrange it: then when they realized we are leaving really early they tried to arrange a breakfast for us. Once my boyfriend said its not needed, gentleman at the reception asked if he should arrange a lunch box. These people love their job and make sure that guests have a great experience, I really hope hotel management values them and treats them as they deserve because they are the 5th star to this hotel 🥰

Included are indoor and outdoor thermal swimming pools, a Thermal & Spa Centre with 10 treatment Rooms, floatbed, Shirodhara (massage with oils flow), Vichy Shower and Hydro Massage, Sauna, Hamam and a Fitness Centre. The hotel is very nice. The pool from the room was heated and a very nice experience. The breakfast was very good, with a big buffet, better than other places on the island. Also the restaurant, has very good food, but a bit pricey.

Located in a valley surrounded by trees, Terra Nostra Garden offers elegantly decorated rooms. Next to the Terra Nostra Botanical Park, it features indoor and outdoor pools. Free parking is available, upon request. The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. The 24 hrs access to the hot spring pools was fantastic. We had the pools to ourselves after 5 pm. We ate sushi one night and it was delicious. Parking was easy and convenient. They allowed us to keep our entrance to gardens and hot spring after check out and even gave us a new robe and towels.

A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. This was probably one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The interior is amazing, and the windows offer amazing views. The hotel staff is very kind and will always help with any questions. Huge recommendations!

The farm stay offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Breakfast was great and the simple provisions in the fridge were much appreciated. The apartment was very spacious, clean and new. The grounds and pool area are great. Would stay here again.

We had a horrible situation, we were at the Lisbon airport when there was the power cut on Apr 27th where all of Spain and Portugal were left with no electricity. We've never seen the Azores, although it was supposed to be our beautiful honeymoon. Even though we never ended up in Alto do Forte, I'm giving the accommodation a 10/10 review just because of the communication and customer support. They were absolutely amazing in handling our situation, showed a lot of understanding and helped us out throughout it. We really really appreciate it!

It’s a lovely quiet place to relax and they have beautiful grounds. Well kept property and a very good breakfast basket delivered to our villa every morning!! If you are a golfer … this is a bonus- overlooking a beautiful golf course!!
