The rooms are round a lovely garden which is shared with the owners. It's a shady haven, with a pool, and swings and hammocks to chill in. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. We visited a river beach nearby which was really fun and the Casa da Ponte owners lent us paddle boards. We also enjoyed the pool table and the turtle pond.The owners are really friendly and welcoming but also give you plenty of space. All in all we loved it and hope to be back!

Situated between Alqueva and Pedrógão, municipality of Vidigueira in Alentejo, and 9 km from the Alqueva dam, this charming country house offers air-conditioned rooms with cable TV. This is an absolute stunning place. We only booked one night here, and as soon as we arrived I did regret that. The atmosphere, the views over the vineyards and the beautiful hotel with so many nice details made this one of our best nights on our Portugal trip. The staff is so friendly. The wine and food was really good. This place gives you the chance to really relax and disconnect. It is very quiet and not many guests, so it's so peaceful. Totally better than what we expected when we booked. 10/10 recommend!

Lovely location to have a relaxing vacations with all the amenities one requires. Although it's a very hot area in Portugal, the house was fully equipped with several Air Conditioners which were super necessary. The hostess always left us at ease and super helpful with every detail.
