From the moment we arrived at Hotel Republica we felt welcomed despite being hot and dishevelled from a big day of hiking. This was one of the most friendly receptions we have had during our two weeks in Portugal. Nothing was too much trouble, including room service provided early from the Restaurant Menu when the All Day Menu was not available. We requested an extra night and again, no problem at all. Breakfast options at the restaurant were exceptional and the service, equally as good. The coffee machine in the room was awesome, the beds luxurious and the bathroom stylish and clean. The minibar was well stocked and an abundance of room snacks were available.

The accommodation is located in a peaceful area with a beautiful and calming atmosphere. The owners and staff were extremely kind and helpful. Even our beagle girl Moly was warmly welcomed and felt right at home. We were expecting a high standard, but we were blown away by how clean and beautifully furnished our tent was – including the bathroom! The entire property felt very well-kept and serene. We spent the evening in the jacuzzi, enjoying a stunning view of the mountains – an unforgettable moment. Don’t forget to take a walk around the area and visit the lovely little mini-zoo – it adds a special charm to the whole place. We didn’t try the restaurant this time, but we’ll definitely come back and make up for it. Thank you. Everything was perfect!

Pousada De Viseu is a grand 19th-century building in the city of Viseu. It offers spacious rooms, spa facilities, and outdoor swimming pools. De Viseu rooms have parquet floors and modern furnishings.... I had an incredible experience at this hotel! The staff was amazing, and the location was perfect, just a short distance from the historic center. The building was originally a hospital but has been fully renovated to a high standard. The central lobby is breathtaking, with comfortable sofas, beautiful art pieces, and an incredible bar. My room was amazing and comfortable, and we could take our dog with us since pets were allowed. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious national desserts to choose from. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely return.

This hotel is located right onto an oceanic beach, next to an 18-hole championship golf course. Guests can access an extensive spa equipped with 8 treatment and massage rooms. Free WiFi is available. Everything. Staff was super friendly and indoor pool was nice because the weather wasnt that warm.
