Helena is such a wonderful person, so kind and helpful. The house is very comfortable and offers plenty of light from the outside. The view to the vines is beautiful. The house is very clean. The pool table was a plus. There is also a jacuzzi but we did not use. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast in the morning. The kitchen is very well equipped for the preparation of other meals. Lots of hot water and very good pressure. There is a dedicated laundry area on the first floor with full size and separate washer and dryer. This is rare in Europe. We also appreciated the bathrobes and slippers. The restaurants and waterfront are 5 minutes down the hill by car. Car parking was easy. We stayed 1 week and we would come back anytime. The house is centrally located to most of the vineyards in the Douro Valley.

The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We also really appreciated the thoughtful amenities, which added so much comfort and convenience to our stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

This pace is beautiful. It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. This was very welcome after weeks of travelling I enjoyed being able to prepare delicious food for my family.
