Everything was clean and well equipped, the check in very simple and friendly. The beach is close and the surroundings pure nature. My friend and I loved it. You have to take the care to do groceries, but you know that when staying there and it's not a problem at all.

The boutique 4-star Hotel do Canal is situated in Horta on Faial Island. It is just 100 metres from the beach and offers panoramic views of Pico Mountain and the bay. We loved our three day stay here. Very professional and friendly staff with a delicious breakfast buffet. The view from our window overlooking the marina and the mountain on the Island of Pico was stunning. Appreciated the underground parking and easy access. Loved the first floor lounge allowing a quiet and comfortable location to read in the early morning so as not to disturb my sleeping wife. Beautiful sunrise there. Location was ideal for hiking to the beach and enjoying the local restaurants.

Azoris Faial Garden – Resort Hotel is situated in parkland on the edge of the historical city of Horta. It features indoor and outdoor pools and stunning views over the marina and Mount Pico. great location. Easy walking from here to multiple areas and restaurants
