View is amazing, food was great (breakfast & bar), very clean. Staff is really nice and helpful. Although the hotel was fully booked, it didn’t feel crowded at all. Very calm and lovely atmosphere. We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our 20th anniversary, but didn’t want to stay in a big, impersonal hotel, and it was just what we had hoped. The hotel combines traditional with beautiful modern spaces, wonderful gardens and lots of secluded spots for guests to enjoy the peace and breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious with hot options cooked to order, and the dining room staff were friendly and efficient. We had dinner at the hotel twice in the week we stayed and the food was of a high standard; eating out on the terrace was a highlight. We loved coming back to the pool after hiking or exploring the island, or to enjoy a drink on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Ponta do Sol itself is more peaceful than many other places on the south coast but has several good places to eat and a popular pub, so most evenings we were able to eat in the village without having to drive. The lifts were all working properly. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring all parts of the island as it is very close to the road which runs up to the mountains and the north coast. Having an indoor pool and sauna to use when the weather was chilly was a bonus. We had an amazing holiday and will be back to explore more of this wonderful island, a week wasn’t nearly enough!

All rooms at the hotel feature cable TV, free WiFi and a private bathroom. Despite big hotel we received warm welcome with personal touch (welcome drink, welcome card with my name printed and free bottle of wine). Room was very spacious with all amenities you need and ved was very comfortable. At departure we even received a small gift. Very pleasant stay.

Guests can relax in 2 saunas and a Turkish bath, benefit from the Vichy shower or the gym. Clean and the facilities were great. Breakfast was amazing and we were able to try some Portuguese traditional food.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has a sun terrace and a hot tub. Host was really clear in the instructions and willing to help with anything we needed. The house is really spacious and clearly well taken care of. The hot tub is a nice touch. The shower was perfect. We want to mention how grateful we are for the flexibility of our host, with a special request of ours... It really helped us out when we needed it. Would recommend this place to stay at. Kitchen well equipped, coffee machine was nice, fridge was nice and big.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Profetas GuestHouse is a recently renovated guest house situated in Porto Santo, 1.1 km from Porto Santo Beach. The property has city and quiet street views, and is 4.1 km from Quinta das Palmeiras. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Carolina and Ricardo are the most welcoming and generous hosts. We loved them -welcomed into their guest house as clients left as friends. So kind and fun and knowledgeable of the area.The building is modern and super clean with ocean views. Spacious bathroom. Easy walk to town and beach. A fantastic breakfast worthy of a 5 star rating. A Must Stay and we will definitely be returning. I will miss them
