Excellent place to stay in Porto Moniz. Location is super convenient, close to the natural pools and with enough parking spaces (either underground at the hotel, or the parking next door). Super helpful and friendly staff, willing to give recommendations for your days in Madeira. Breakfast, even though in a different building close by, was also delicious with multiple savory and sweet options. The room was spacious, with enough equipment to make your own food in the studio if you want. The bed and the pillows we also comfortable and the small terrace of the room gives enough space to relax after your excursions.

The 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira offers elegant rooms with Atlantic Ocean views in the fishing village of Porto Moniz, 45 km north of Funchal city centre. It offers a sauna on site. Amazing location, waves crushing under the balcony, spectacular views of the sea and cliffs, two great restaurants on site - both view sea views. We also got a welcome drink as a surprise and all staff were most welcoming and helpful.

The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was a decent size, with great views of the sea and mountains. The facilities were very good, with an indoor and an outdoor pool. The view from the cliffs was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, with friendly hotel staff and a good selection of breads, cereals, cooked food, fruit, cheeses and so on.

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. I love the location. It was amazing view of the ocean and wonderful walking around the area. The staffs are great and so helpful.

If I ever visit Sao Vicente again, I will definitely stay at Refugio das Fontes.
