The design and décor honor the legacy of the building, while the rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and infused with the welcoming scent of lavender from the moment you step inside. Everything we needed was there. And then there’s the patio—what a hidden gem of Porto! A small but charming pool with a jacuzzi, a complimentary sauna, and a beautiful garden spa. I honestly felt like Alice in Wonderland. I’d also like to highlight the restaurant and breakfast service. I loved the à la carte concept, which not only helps to prevent food waste but also allows you to enjoy a different taste every day from a wide selection of options. A truly unforgettable stay!

We stayed at the bungalow and it was 100% worth it. Best view of the valley, totally private and room was so comfortable and great! Breakfast is amazing too. Wish we had stayed longer!

My short stay at the hotel was wonderful. I loved the modern facilities. The breakfast options were diverse. The warmth of the staff made me feel welcome. The cozy spa was the perfect place to unwind. As a solo female traveler, I appreciated it a lot. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a relaxing and worry-free experience!

My flight was delayed by about two hours so I didn’t think I’d arrive in time to catch the shuttle to the hotel, but the staff kindly let me know that the driver would be following my flight and wait for me at the airport, which was incredibly nice of them to do. The room was great, it all all the amenities (and then some) and the extra touch of providing free water, fruit and biscuits upon my arrival was fantastic! Breakfast was also very good and all the staff was incredibly friendly and kind every day.

Torel Avantgarde is set in Porto's centre, a 10-minute walk from the Douro riverside and 750 metres from the iconic Clérigos Church. Great location, amazing hotel, very clean, beautiful, staff was very nice and helpful.

Vale de São Torcato Hotel Rural is situated in Guimarães, 4.3 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. A gem! The room and all other facilities were great, and the staff were simply amazing. Hope to come again!

Located in Mesão Frio, a 35-minute drive from Lamego, Imaginário d´El Rei features a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace. If you are visiting the Douro, you need to stay at this beautiful guest house. The views from the property are out of this world. The owners, Ines and Filipe, go out of their way to accommodate their guests, and their kind hospitality is what makes this place special. We would definitelyyyy choose to stay here again!
