Staff were super helpful, suggesting best places to visit and to eat at. The environment of the hotel is so calming, you forget you're in the middle of a city. The room was perfect, spacious, and they provided us with everything we could need for our daughter, a high chair, cot, changing mat and even a baby bath. Everyone was so nice to her and accommodating. The heated pool was lovely to enjoy. Really such a luxurious stay and will definitely be staying here again, when we come to Porto. Metro is just round the corner but it is also walking distance to almost all attractions. Just a 25 mins walk to the river side and 15 mins walk to the famous bridge. Plenty of restaurants around as well.

Torel Avantgarde is set in Porto's centre, a 10-minute walk from the Douro riverside and 750 metres from the iconic Clérigos Church. We stayed in the maisonette during our stay and the room was great with an absolutely Incredible view you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere. All of the staff were exceptional and incredibly friendly (Especially Thiago from maintenance!). We generally like to be left to ourselves and although further services were offered by the hotel, we really appreciated the privacy offered and the non-intrusive nature of everything during our stay, although any requests we did have were handled perfectly. The "Le Petit Prince" package for our baby they had in our room on arrival was an also really nice gesture. We've stayed at many nice hotels across Europe, but this has definitely been our favourite and we'll definitely be staying here on our next trip to Porto!

Great location, immaculate and a nice place to return to after walking all day. Jacuzzi was great after a day of sight seeing and navigating the hills of Porto. Brilliant

The room was very bright with tons of windows overlooking the courtyard. The location is fun, we haven't stayed in this area of Porto before and it was very close to the beach, super walkable with good restaurants in the neighborhood. The owner recommended a dinner spot with great seafood and he was right! The breakfast was really good as well.

I bought a night for 2 couples as a Christmas present, and they were delighted. I have been previously and this place is a little gem. The food at the restaurant is beautiful, rooms super clean and big, staff is friendly. The environment is super cozy and relaxing. Highly recommended.
