Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. Wonderful compound - a historical monastery where the original spirit and details are nicely maintained and incorporated. Most impressive was the Church that was still there and active, incorporated in the domain. One of the most beautiful Churches we saw on our trip in Portugal. Nice outside pool area and a little spa and inside pool.

Our hosts Leny and Jerome were brilliant and couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating! What a lovely little family (with little Edouard) who work incessantly to maintain the property and make the experience very personable and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and crepes, plus other savory items plus a glass of fresh pressed orange juice.

Originally a 14th-century convent, Pousada Mosteiro do Crato has operated as a castle, a palace, and now a modern luxury hotel. It features an outdoor pool with a sun terrace. The staff was amazing and very welcoming, helping with the bags and getting us settled in our rooms and explaining how everything worked. Dinner here was excellent as was the buffet breakfast the next day.

The accommodation is newly done and to a very high standard. It's well-equipped and comfortable, with nice outside spaces. Plenty of parking. The pool is large and the sauna and jacuzzi are lovely. Fantastic views and a tranquil setting. The hostess is attentive and charming, and delivers a delicious breakfast to the patio. The home made products and fruit from the garden are delicious. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Wow, this place is such a nice little oasis in Alentejo. Nice garden, pool, and hot tub. You can tell the owners really put a lot of care into fixing the place up. All of the little details are well thought out. The owners Dennis and Anouk are very nice and friendly. The beds are comfortable and the shower has lots of hot water with good pressure. Highly recommend paying for the breakfast. Can't wait to come back
