Our airconditioning failed with was notable at the reception, directly the staff knocked out our door to fix it. Quality bedding and clean. Nice rooms. All rooms have special names with dedicated sweet referred to the room type. 15 minutes walk time downtown.

The accommodation is newly done and to a very high standard. It's well-equipped and comfortable, with nice outside spaces. Plenty of parking. The pool is large and the sauna and jacuzzi are lovely. Fantastic views and a tranquil setting. The hostess is attentive and charming, and delivers a delicious breakfast to the patio. The home made products and fruit from the garden are delicious. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Located in the heart of historical Portalegre, Rossio Hotel is a themed eco-friendly, design hotel, which features solar panels, UTA units in the rooms and reuses rainwater for several purposes. Excellent customer service. Excellent assistance from Joanna at reception and breakfast personnel were informative re-Portuguese food and culture. Eleven out of ten rating.
