The house was well appointed, everything you want and expect when traveling, including an extensive honor bar. Highly recommend and hope to come back! Saw many comments about being at top of hill which it is, so having a car was a big plus. Anyone traveling to Douro should expect hills!

Easy access to hiking trails. Lovely and comfortable and spacious room. Charming and attentive host, wonderful breakfast.

The bathroom is on the (very) small size, as is the shower. The food is good quality, set dinner as well as snacks. The service is very faultless.
