I was staying at Potkovica Mountain House with a group of friends. We all agreed that this was definately the best stay we ever experienced having in mind that we frequently travel around Serbia & Europe but never felt hospitality from hosts like this before and house that was as well equiped and clean as this one. You can feel that this house was built and maintained with love, as hosts were thinking about tiniest details. Location of house is perfect, yet private and with maginificent views, there are as well 2 lakes nearby Zaovine and Spajici, and the best restaurant in area all within walking distance. We were provided with 2 parking spots at the place as well SUP board and Kayak to use free of charge. I highly recommend this place to everybody who plans to explore Tara National Park lakes and surroundings.

It has its own yard with barbeque area, jacuzzi and hammock. The house is surrounded by beautiful forest, with neighbours on one side only. It is a calm and peaceful place during weekdays and more lively on weekends. Zaovine is a beautiful for swimming, with clear and blue water, and the lake is just a 7-min walk from the house. It has everything for a barbeque, the kitchen is well-equipped. There is also a nice restaurant with a great view about a 15-min walk. Our communications with the landlord was pleasant and positive.

We only stayed here for one day, but will definitely come back again in the winter. Great house, spacious and has everything you need. Close to the lake and the path to it. We didn't use the barrel because it was very hot, but will definitely try it in the winter. Most importantly the kind and pleasant hosts who were very polite. Christina, contacted me personally in advance and gave us advice on the best way to get there and controlled the time so that there were no problems with the arrival. Her husband met us and showed us everything, also a little later he prepared for us a barbecue stove, chopped wood and so on. But the most important thing is the location, beautiful view of the lakes, beautiful starry sky at night. Great location, one of the best on Tara. I recommend it all
