Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

We loved our own sauna space that during summer is turned into a relaxing room with an outstanding sea view! Everything was amazing but that which touched us the most was the professionalism of the staff and of the people in charge. Specific needs/situations were met and resolved with the highest professionalism as I had yet not met before ( and I do travel a lot both in Sweden and abroad). Thank you so much to all staff and to this amazing place that made my daughter’s 21th birthday an unforgettable one ♥️ And as a touch of pure grace, we had the amazing experience to see and touch the bioluminescence of “ Mareld” that were present by the shore so close to our studio! Better we could not ask for! Will definitely come back…and not only once!

An incredible place to stay in a beautiful location! House was spacious and luxurious. Loved the wood fired hot tub and the kitchen was incredible well equipped. Hosts were very friendly and answered our queries promptly. House was also easy to access by bus, with just a short walk from the bus stop. We also loved exploring the local area, including checking out the floating wood fired sauna (didn't use as the sea was a little rough) and the wind shelter. Would 100% stay at Hallesdalen again in future!

Beautiful hotel, very well designed, you feel like you are in someone's beautiful mansion and you can really imagine how the family that owned it lived and used it. Very homey and authentic. Every detail is taken care of. Great restaurant and amazing breakfast.

Located next to the Byfjord in Uddevalla, Hotell Bohusgården features a spa and wellness area. WiFi and parking services are free of charge. All rooms have a TV. Great stay, really cosy and clean. Swimming pool and spa area contribute to a very relaxing experience. Uddevalla is also a strategic place to reach fantastic nearby locations (if you have got a car).
