The house was really great, perfect for a family with 3 children. We really like Swedish Lapland and the house is the perfect place for adventures in nature... it's our second time in this house, last time we were here in summer, now we enjoyed the winter (ski touring, hiking up Pyhäkiellinen near Skaulo, husky and snowmobile safaris in Lappeasuando ...)

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location. We were lucky enough to witness the aurora borealis for the first time here, which made our experience even more special. The place offers a wide variety of tours and activities, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly kind and professional. We did have one issue—due to a mistake on Booking.com’s end, our spa reservation was canceled without our knowledge. This is something that should be improved, as the issue could have been resolved before it became a problem. However, the staff handled it in the best possible way. They compensated us with free cross-country ski rentals, complimentary souvenirs, and snacks, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The agent on duty at the time was extremely polite and helpful, turning an unfortunate situation into a positive experience that actually enhanced our trip. Because of the exceptional service and the overall experience, we will definitely return and book the same apartment again. Highly recommended!

Situated in central Gällivare, Scandic Gällivare is 7 minutes' walk from Gällivare Train Station. Free use of the indoor pool and free WiFi access. The gym and pool are great The food is very good

Grand Hotel Lapland is situated in the centre of Gällivare, directly opposite Gällivare Train Station. This area is known for both the midnight sun and the unique northern lights. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, clean rooms.
