Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. We had no idea what to expect from a "pirate hotel", but it was above any expectation! Besides that, it was a wonderfull room, with big balcony, big big bed and all very clean and "piratty". In detail!

We stayed in one of the small houses/studio by the sea with own jacuzzi. It was magnificent!! We loved our own sauna space that during summer is turned into a relaxing room with an outstanding sea view! Everything was amazing but that which touched us the most was the professionalism of the staff and of the people in charge. Specific needs/situations were met and resolved with the highest professionalism as I had yet not met before ( and I do travel a lot both in Sweden and abroad). Thank you so much to all staff and to this amazing place that made my daughter’s 21th birthday an unforgettable one ♥️ And as a touch of pure grace, we had the amazing experience to see and touch the bioluminescence of “ Mareld” that were present by the shore so close to our studio! Better we could not ask for! Will definitely come back…and not only once!

Apenas a 35 km de Museu Bohusläns, Haere Mai B&B Orust fornece acomodações em Henån com um jardim, um terraço e uma cozinha partilhada. We had a personal and warm welcome by our hosts Jenny and Peter. We had a small, cosy, and perfectly equipped house of our own. Peter gave excellent tips what to see and where to go. Jenny offered us a delicious and very special breakfast. The B&B also provided complimentary brand-new kajaks which we made use of in the nearby fjord. We very much liked the surroundings. We can recommend to spend more than just two or three days there.

Very cozy little cabin, with a lot of attention to the details. Very scenic view on the sea and the forest from the patio area. Hosts are very nice and always available. Plus points for the complimentary sweets and the private parking spot.
