Very kind hosts who made us feel very welcome. We were able to store our bicycles securely overnight. The breakfast was fantastic and we sat eating it looking over the river. Would highly recommend staying.

Had a really thoughtful conversation with the owner about the history of the area, who was able to share perspectives of Slovenians who stayed in the region after WWII. (My family emigrated from a neighboring town to the US after the war) After visiting this gorgeous place, it was easy to see why my grandfather missed his homeland so much.

Hotel Balnea Superior is located in the magnificent surroundings of Dolenjske Toplice, offering great wellness services and cosy, airy rooms. Big, comfortable and nice room. The fireplace was exceptionally romantic. Good room for celebrating birthday.

Hotel Kristal is interconnected with an underground passage that leads to the indoor pools. The front desk staff are THE BEST! They helped me with a million questions, were so kind and welcoming every time I stopped by, and we're just overall some of the best, most welcoming hotel staff I've ever interacted with! The hotel itself has lovely old charm and is ornate and gorgeous, but the rooms are still modern and updated. I was in a room by the elevator but didn't even notice the noise. I had a delightful view onto the courtyard. The spa and wellness area is fantastic with many different options, both for pools and for services. I was able to book 2 services at the last minute, and they were lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. A great buffet with a variety of selections. I was just sad I'm not very hungry in the mornings so I couldn't eat more.
