The Grand Hotel River Park is situated in downtown Bratislava, directly on the banks of the river Danube and only a 35-minute drive from Vienna International Airport. Staff was very friendly and proffesional and kind. Breakfast was top notch and we loved the Spa at the hotel. Honorable mention: The grand living room!

The apartment was so clean and nicely designed, very well kitted out with utensils in the kitchen with everything you would need, underground parking, comfy beds, great use of space outside too. It was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was super well equipped, very quiet, well located to explore the area and parking right in front of the property. The hostess was very helpful with information and readily available. The units are adjoining but you do not hear your neighbors. If you have children there is an outdoor playground and many games and things for them inside. Really a super nice place to stay and the locals are very friendly and welcoming.

One of my favorite features was the stunning big windows, which allowed us to fully enjoy the picturesque park scenery from the comfort of indoors. Sipping local fizzy wine while enjoying the serene park view made our mornings feel extra special. The castle park itself, though small, is charming and ideal for short walks. Try Palace Taverna! Yummy stuff. And wine. Try their wine. It is must do! The spa was a true highlight, featuring a large jacuzzi, steam and Finnish saunas, and a peaceful relaxation area. And the massage? Oh yes, absolutely divine—if you have the chance, don’t miss it. Pure heaven!
