This hotel exceeded our expectations. It looks fantastic, the food is unbelievably good, the spa is wonderful and the staff did everything to make us feel welcomed. It is only 15 min drive from ski slopes that we enjoyed every day.

The spa and sport facilities contain a gym, a rock-climbing wall, a billiard, as well as wellness area with an indoor pool, children’s pool, various saunas, tepidarium and a hot tub. The location was great, calm environment, close connected with forest. Excellent restaurant and gourment dinners, very good wellness and nice friendly and willing people work there. Rooms were clean and cosy. I am looking forward to return there for my next visit. 10 out of 10!

The staff were friendly and gave good suggestions on places to visit, things to do, restaurants to try etc. The hotel is in a good location to access different hiking trail start points with short train rides (5-10 minutes walking distance to closest train station Sibir). The hotel offered wellness facilitates at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for staying in High Tatras!

Free access for 1 hour to the wellness centre is available and guests can relax in a sauna, steam room or a hot tub. They can also admire a stunning view of the Velicky Valley from the spacious summer terrace. Amazing hotel! Great location. Rooms are cosy, comfortable, and very clean. The spa was exceptional and a welcome end to a days hiking. Great vegan food - especially breakfast.

Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. The ski slopes are 200 metres away. The hotel is renovated and all the facilities and fittings are top notch. Location is great, easy to walk out to the lake or start more challenging hikes. The breakfast was very varied and tasty. The 30 Euro buffet dinner was great value. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our window. I didn’t try the other facilities like the pool or sauna etc., but we would love to come back again.
