August 2025/2nd stay: We started our 2 month Asian holiday at The Salil Riverside, and we ended our trip at The Salil Riverside. What an amazing welcome back greeting we got. As soon as our taxi arrived in front of the hotel, Aom and Mekki from the concierge team were waving and smiling. As a big surprise to all 3 of us, especially our 11 year old daughter, they presented her with a wonderful framed picture we took of her at our first stay. They had also made a lovely handwritten card. This was our hotel stay number 10 on our Asian tour, and The Salil Riverside deserves a 10 ⭐️ rating. It's without doubt the best hotel we stayed at and the best breakfast of all the hotels. Everything from staff, location, service, comfort, and the amazing decor of the hotel is fantastic. If you are looking for a hotel in Bangkok, then look no further as The Salil Riverside is definitely the place to stay. Again, thank you so much to everyone at Salil for making our end of our Asian trip amazing and memorable. Boat service for free was amazing and a big plus. The female manager at breakfast was so good and kind. Were there as a family with an 11 year old, and all of us had a fabulous 6 night stay. We had two connected rooms for family of 4 - appartment with sofa in 19th floor (4 nights). Excelent! The view from the rooms on the other side of the busy street was magnificent, especialy the corner one. Not so much on the construction side - also very illuminated until late. Breakfast in the 36th floor - amazing view and plenty of choise. Fantastic! Pool area very cosy, view very nice. Gym also. Staff very responsive and polite.

The daily buffet breakfast option/s is definitely on top of my list. 😊 We tried having dinner at the Stock Room too and their ala carte options tasted really good, especially the pad thai. In-room dining options were also yummy. Another thing I liked is the ambience of the hotel, especially the lobby. It’s location is also superb, just a few minutes from the malls. You can take a cab or you can walk if you’re fond of walking. The area is clean, with lots of trees in the vicinity and doesn’t get crowded. The staff were all helpful and courteous. Our room was huge and the bed was comfortable. They cleaned the room everyday. We also loved the pool area, it was shaded which is the best set up when you want to avoid the sun. 😉 There’s a portion in it too where you can get a tan or you can opt to use the sun loungers. Best part is that it wasn’t crowded. My son and I enjoyed our pool time. We are missing Kimpton already and would definitely stay there again when we go to Bangkok.

The Grand Hyatt was right in the center of a busy area but walking through the front entrance makes you feel safe, secure and relaxed. An oasis feeling that you could just stay in the hotel an enjoy the facilities. But Bangkok has lots to offer so we made sure to be out and about but came back between planned sightseeing or meals to relax.
