The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

I had breakfast at the Waterfront restaurant for the duration of my stay and it was first class service. Khun Pooh helped me feel very comfortable whilst traveling alone to the resort, all the staff knew my name and showed me around the buffet and the food was so fresh and locally grown so the vegetables had extra taste and there were many healthy options available, the fresh juices were equisite.

Staff was incredibly nice and they also have motorbikes on site for rent! 150 baht/day for the motor bikes (~$4.50USD/day). Great location, within 5-10 minute motorbike ride to “main drag” of town or the beach!

The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I really appreciated the option for the french breakfast with real butter! And the view can't be beat - whether that's from the restaurant, the room or the pool. A real gem and I will recommend this place to all those who come to the island :)

The villa complex will provide guests with air-conditioned units with a wardrobe, a kettle, a fridge, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a hot tub. The villa complex features certain units with sea views, and each unit is equipped with a balcony. Additional in-room amenities include fruits. We spent two nights here before our flight back home after two months in Thailand. We got exactly what we were looking for! A beautiful villa with comfortable bed. A lovely balcony with afternoon sun. There are only 6 villas so the place is very quiet and we spent our two days by the pool all by ourselves! We loved it! The check in/restaurant is about 5 minutes walk from the villas but with a quick message to the owner they come to pick you up for breakfast, lunch and dinner within 5 minutes after sending the message. We also ordered breakfast to the room which felt like extra luxury! One thing we didn’t expect from this place was the very cheap food and drinks, also very tasty!

A private entrance leads guests into the villa, where they can enjoy some fruits. This villa is non-smoking and soundproof. We had an amazing stay, this place is exceptional. The staff is super nice and helpful, thank you to the villa host Namfon, always smiling and happy to help. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the Massaman Beef… the best we had in Asia so far (and we we live in Asia since a few years)! The location, what to stay… pictures speak for themselves, it is truly beautiful. Super comfy bed, beautiful views, quiet and peaceful…everything is perfect. Thank you to the whole team, we will come back!

For guests' convenience, there is a 24-hour front desk available at the property. This is one of the best value resorts I have stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are very practical for travelling with a baby. The all inclusive package was incredible value for money. We will definitely be coming back. We were particularly appreciative of Ae and Oilly extra efforts to entertain our 6 month old baby while we were eating meals.

Each Deluxe Beach Suite consists of a bedroom, an en suite bathroom and a spacious living area with a sofa, a table and a set of chairs. The air-conditioned room comes with a private balcony, a seating area and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen area is equipped with cutlery, an electric kettle, microwave oven and a refrigerator. The villas were spacious and very clean and well equipped. The bathroom and outdoor rain shower were the nicest of our 2 week trip. The villa looked nicer in person than in the pictures, which I feel like rarely happens! The pool was impeccably clean and very large. The service went above and beyond. Nancy, the hotel manager, made herself available to help coordinate hotel transfer and return to the airport and gave lots of great tips throughout our trip. Laguna was in a great location, and they have scooters and bikes available for rent. Really felt like home away from home.
