O Moracea by Khao Lak Resort providencia acomodações de 5 estrelas em frente à praia, num suave declive da Colina de Khao Lak. The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

Khun Pooh helped me feel very comfortable whilst traveling alone to the resort, all the staff knew my name and showed me around the buffet and the food was so fresh and locally grown so the vegetables had extra taste and there were many healthy options available, the fresh juices were equisite.

The whole experience at Khao Lak Marriott was wonderful from the moment of arrival, parking our car, assistance with our bags, and an easy check-in. An electric buggy whisked us to our room, which was delightful, immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and bedding. The sandy beach was clean, overlooking the quiet and inviting Andaman Sea, plus the choice of resort pools allowed for some serious or playful swimming. All resort staff were exceptional, helpful, knowledgeable, and always with a warm greeting and a smile. Good buffet breakfast included in the price and wide food choice otherwise available all day at the resort. Thank you, Marriott, for a lovely stay.

It’s a really peaceful place, the owners are very friendly, you could book a taxi and trips with them. The breakfast is really good, continental or Thai breakfast.

Situated in Ko Yao Yai, 4.5 km from Laem Had Beach, Better View Koh Yao Yai features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Perfect stay! The owner Jerome makes sure that every guest is taken care off and has the best experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I really appreciated the option for the french breakfast with real butter! And the view can't be beat - whether that's from the restaurant, the room or the pool. A real gem and I will recommend this place to all those who come to the island :)

The JW Marriott Khao Lak is truly an exceptional hotel. Located an hour and a half from the airport, this hotel leaves a lasting impression from the moment you arrive. ### Arrival and First Impressions We were warmly welcomed with a delightful hibiscus drink and given a comprehensive tour of the hotel. They provided us with a schedule of activities, 90% of which were free for all guests. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, and I can't emphasize enough how amazing it was. ### Pools and Amenities The pools are enormous – there are around five or more, including the largest river pool in Asia that winds around the entire hotel. There are dedicated areas for kids, with two big pools featuring various games, while the rest are for adults. The amenities are top-notch, and the staff is exceptionally helpful, kind, and down to earth. ### Room Quality Our room was exceptional. We had two rooms with a living area and buggy service. The suite option is highly recommended over the smaller rooms, as it offers a significantly more pleasant experience. ### Dining The breakfast area is extensive, offering every option you could think of, including live cooking stations. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included one lunch option per person and a three-course dinner per person. The portions were generous and perfect for our group of five. The hotel's restaurants are diverse and delicious, featuring Italian, Thai, Japanese, and international cuisine, as well as grills and pizza options near the pool. All the restaurants were top-notch, and we enjoyed every meal. ### Activities and Entertainment The hotel offers a vast array of activities from 8 am to 8 pm. The fire show on the beach at night was a highlight. We also participated in a bath bomb workshop at the spa, which was very enjoyable.

The warm welcome, the pier pickup service, the modern buildings and big room, the pool, the quality of the breakfast, and the cleanliness. I also used the scooter rental (very convenient, 350 Baht per day (i am aware that this is a bit a high price, but considering a hotel rental, and no deposit to be made, i think it's a good deal))

We spent a month in Thailand and stayed in 7 different hotels. This was definitely the best of them all.
