Ahmed was the most helpful and proactive in all aspects of our stay, starting with a smooth late night check, then providing us info on our self-driving tour of the area, arranging our hot air balloon visit and lighting the fire in our rooms on the coldest snow days. It was also very nice to chat with him and to learn more about Göreme. Great views of the balloons from our balcony and good location if you are driving. Heating was sufficient for our winter visit, toasty rooms especially when the fireplace is lit. Clean rooms and easy pre-check in communication. Breakfast was a very nice surprise too.

I booked our stay at Stone House Cave Hotel for our time in Cappadocia, and from the minute my reservation was confirmed, I was blown away by the care I received. The rooms themselves are incredible: light, airy, spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, thoughtful design incorporating natural stone and even some of the original caves. The restaurant on site was delicious and we often ate there for lunch and dinner as well. They graciously provided endless tea and hot chocolate for us, even before the restaurant was officially open, since we got up before sunrise to watch the hot air balloons every morning. The location is near shops and restaurants, and we even walked to Goreme Open Air Museum from the hotel in just 20 minutes. And if that weren't already amazing, they organized all of our tours for us and took care of absolutely everything!
