Overall a 10/10 and definitely coming back on our next visit to Taipei. Thank you!

Situated conveniently within a 3-minute walk from Xinbeitou MRT Station, Beitou Hot Spring Resort operates a 24-hour front desk and offers elegantly modern rooms with private hot spring bathtub. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the entire property. Everything about this hotel was great, by far the best stay of our Japanese + Taiwanese vacay. The rooms were of a good size, very clean and also cleaned every day, complete with clean towels and the floors were also vacuumed daily. The spa tub in our hotel room was awesome, we used it every night. The toilet was also separate from the shower which was brilliant and convenient. The cups were changed daily and coffee/tea/cookies were refilled daily too. The breakfast spread was wholesome with both taiwanese and western options. Overall, very good value for money. The location is slightly further from downtown Taipei but closer to Yangmingshan (if you enjoy hiking), the location is good. It's also conveniently located close to the traditional market, highly recommend you visit the local morning market Beitou. We also found good restaurants located nearby the hotel. The only improvement for the hotel is to consider having netflix in the rooms. Apart from that, everything was really good. Will consider staying here again.

The Metro Hotel is a 6-minute drive from Songshan Airport. Famous attractions like Long Shan Temple and Mucha Zoo are within a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The property is a great value. Room lighting is very warm. I greatly appreciate that they make an effort to keep smoking to a minimum and do a great job cleaning the rooms to get rid of the smell for when people don't follow the rules and smoke anyways.
