The property was super clean and in a great location! The breakfast was very good with a good variety. Beds were comfortable and the shower was great!!

Featuring a covered pavilion with barbecue facilities and a fire pit, Rocket Motel is located in Custer. Free WiFi access is available. Great location and really comfortable room. This was my 8th hotel as part of a long road trip and I had the best nights sleep here so far. The room has heater (which I needed on this unusual cold wet summer day) and a great shower. Parking was right outside of the room and there was coffee available in the mornings with an ice machine outside next to the reception. Bars and restaurants are walking distance, I would recommend Custer wolf - food and drink. I had the best chicken tenders there I’ve ever had an a big selection of craft beers. Tommy the owner was a really friendly guy and it seems everyone knows each other by first name and it was just a great place to chill and meet new people.

Hotel remodeled in 2025 and across the street from the Days of '76 Museum. Clean and good location. Breakfast was great. Even stayed an extra night

Located in the heart of Deadwood, this sprawling South Dakota resort boasts an on-site casino and 2 restaurants. Each guest room comes equipped with a 37-inch flat-screen cable TV. I was shocked how nice this "Resort" was. Not a normal Holiday Inn Express this is a Resort. Very nice, quiet and clean resort. Very comfortable beds. Very convenient to fun: Casino, restaurant on site or nearby restaurants, walking into downtown Deadwood, close to outdoor theatre for movies/music, and convenient drive to Spearfish Canyon, Mt Rushmore, etc.

Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, this lodge is just a mile from historic Deadwood town centre. It features an on-site casino with 270 slot machines, and an indoor water park. The staff and hotel were great. We could not have asked for a better experience. We arrived for our honeymoon to a room upgrade. There were not many people when we stayed so we didn't have to wait for anything. The restaurant was great. Food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely return. We made day trips to Mt Rushmore, Custer, Badlands, and Devils Tower.
