The Garden Oasis room is a gorgeous screened-in terrace, the perfect place to dream with the vibrant sounds and scents of the rainforest all around you. Two inner guestrooms are also available if you prefer a dryer and quieter experience. We enjoyed socializing with the friendly host and other guests in the shared areas, and heard great things about the weekly gay BBQ event on Mondays.

Ocean View Paradise is a calm oasis and a great home base to some of the greatest beaches in this world and volcano national Park. There are also supermarkets, restaurants and food trucks close by as well as coffee plantations for your morning coffee. We will come back if we can!

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The room is huge, with plenty of space and a cozy living area where you can truly relax. Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.

Kilauea Lodge was everything we love - relaxed, cozy, and incredibly beautiful. Staff were very nice and helpful and the surrounding areas are as magnificent as you would imagine. Highly recommend.

Spacious, clean, quiet and lovely neighbors. Beach club was very nice with good snorkeling. Beach lounge chairs available on a first come first served basis at no charge. We didn’t have any issues getting a chair. Pool is lovely, nicely landscaped with comfortable lounge chairs and dining tables. Very peaceful and beautifully kept up. Our unit had beach chairs and snorkeling gear available for us. Also had an in unit washer and dryer. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

Everything about this condo was phenomenal! From the space to the view to the cleanliness etc. Would definitely love to stay here again!!
