We stepped from hubbub of city into a welcoming and elegant lobby and then back to a quiet courtyard with hot tub and modest pool. Plenty of secluded outdoor space. Our room was like an apartment with kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom. Most mornings, we took our breakfast outside to eat. The staff members were warm and gracious, always helpful. This is a hidden gem, and will become our go to accommodation when visiting New Orleans. So close to street car transport, entertainment, art galleries, and restaurants. We are not Bourbon Street kind of folks, but it’s just a block away for those who are. We went to at least ten jazz, Cajun, and Blues venues while in residence. The City has a program of washing streets and sidewalk with lemon scented water early in morning. What an improvement!
