Love the victorian charm of this historic house! We always look forward to sitting on the deck looking out over the excitement on Dickson Street. We love that we're in the middle of the action with great food, drink, and entertainment, only a short walk from our room. We also look forward to the cozy, relaxing bed! The mattresses are so comfortable that (according to my watch) I get more and better quality sleep here than anywhere else - even my own home. My wife and I are introverts, so we like the fact we can book, check in, and check out without ever talking to anyone if we don't feel like it. However, if you need anything, the staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Whenever we visit Fayetteville, we always try to book here first, and we've been lucky enough to always get a room. We're already looking for upcoming events so we can book our next stay!

It was about a 5-minute drive to downtown but it was nestled away for a really great feel of being out in the wilderness right off the beaten path.

There were plenty of instructions and notes to give us the information we needed (although it would have been nice to meet our lovely hosts). Breakfast was served to our room in the morning, and it was hot, tasty, and exactly the right amount. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch and the Zelda theme room made us want to learn more about Zelda Fitzgerald - especially loved the quotes of and about her to round out the experience.

Clean, comfortable and the hot tub was great. Only thing (very minor) 2 remotes did not work. I think they were for outside lights but who cares? Can’t see stars from the hot tub with lights on. It was cozy had a great shower, bed was comfortable, kitchen was furnished even got to see 4 deer playing and feeding through the brush and squirrels EVERYWHERE. And only took 5 min to get to downtown eureka. It was a great trip and the cabin had A LOT to do with it.
