Location is great, right on the beach, with amazing views! The air is unbelievably fresh and crisp, the smell of the ocean and greenery truly amazing. The room looks freshly remodeled, especially bathroom seems really nice and new. The staff was friendly, very fast and simple check in and check out. Breakfast was simple but tasty, good coffee and fresh fruit provided.

Situated on Avila beach, Avila Lighthouse Suites features oceanfront views from the outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Exceptional property at a lovely, laid back beach town. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we encountered in California. We loved that we could borrow beach chairs and equipment and our kids loved the pool. It was the perfect place for some R&R on our road trip. The rooms were big and comfortable and I would highly recommend going for a sea view suite. The quality of the food at breakfast was also very high. The range on offer was a bit more limited than at some of the other hotels we stayed at but that was no problem for us.
