The hostel was very clean and the pool was an added bonus. We had a private room with our own bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our stay. Town was an easy walk away. It took us about 20 minutes. The owner picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. We find that the son who spoke very good English was very helpful. He booked our tours, a bus from Hue to Phong Nha and a driver from Phong Nha to Hanoi when our flight was cancelled. The restaurant was fabulous and be sure to take part in the family dinner. It was inexpensive, delicious food booked by mom and sister and lots of fun. I would recommend staying here as it’s great value and the family/owners who all work together to run the place try very hard to please.

The pool was great — always open, and with the option to get drinks served right there, which made it extra enjoyable. Breakfast was à la carte, freshly prepared and served, which was a really nice touch compared to standard buffets. Our room was nice and comfortable, providing a relaxing space after a day of exploring. The staff were very polite and accommodating — they even charged us only for one night instead of two when we decided to leave a day earlier to continue our travels. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Phong Nha.

The owner booked us on a fantasy tour which was the best we’d been on. The hotel was basic but very clean and in an excellent location. It had a great swimming pool and the breakfast was delicious.
