We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodation and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. We enjoyed our stay here. The whole hotel crew is lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we had cold water in the shower but the manager personally took care of it and within 30 minutes the problem was solved. We were also offered another room as an alternative. The manager is very concerned about his guests. Very nice to see something like this and to feel valued as customer!

Mountain-top resort surrounded by savannah, Zuurberg provides panoramic views of Addo Elephant National Park. It features an outdoor pool and an array of outdoor activities. We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!

Kududu Guest House offers scenic views of the Sunday’s River Valley and the Eastern Cape bush. It features an outdoor pool area with barbecue facilities. The guesthouse was set inside a citrus orchard looking out over a valley and the surrounding orchards. The guesthouse is isolated up a gravel road but that gave it a unique charm. I had room 3, which lead out to the pool and outdoor recreation area. There is a lovely star jasmine vine growing outside on the wall that scented the air and room .a very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we had a good chat several times. There are safe areas to wander around the vicinity and orchard (lemons mostly). A very nice breakfast in a room of the lounge overlooking a valley, where there were cape Buffalo. The whole place had a nice comfortable feeling about it. Nice public use spaces and good views . The pool was clean and cool (it was very hit the day I arrived) and the grass was nice to relax on. There was outdoor furniture to use. I was surpised how rhe valley and distant views came alive at night, with street and security lighting all around, and the glow of the township lights in the distance. Two very friendly dogs who were keen for a walk ior a run every time I opened the security gate. This is a very safe location . Its up a rural road, inside a secure orchard, inside secre fencing (mostly to control the cape Buffalo , sufficient deterrent in themselves) fronted by some dense spiky bush. A place to relax and chill out.
