The unit was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, towels and extra blankets provided. The wood fired hot tub was a fun experience! Located on the lovely Gowan Valley Guest Farm, a gorgeous property where you can enjoy spectacular river views and forest greenery (the short Forest Walk through the property should not be missed!).

Kukummi is a wonderful lodge in an exceptional location. There are only three guest accommodations - each with its own rondavel. The atmosphere is therefore very personal, which I really liked, travelling on my own this time. Both hosts - Ryan and Danny - are super nice and make you feel like a friend from the moment you arrive. If you are interested, Ryan will be happy to tell you more about the place, the history of the lodge and the plans of the two owners. I was fascinated by his stories and couldn't stop asking more details (hope you didn't mind me bothering, Ryan... ;o) The staff is very attentive and eager to fulfill your every wish. Breakfast and dinner are very tasty. There is not much choice at dinner, but a fixed weekly menu, which is completely understandable given the small size of the hotel. I really enjoyed the meat dishes, but vegetarians also have no problem - Danny, the co-owner, is one himself. Various options were offered for breakfast. My personal favorite was the English breakfast prepared by Dombi - nothing was missing and it was excellently prepared... a dream! You have a wonderful view of the mountains and can go hiking from the lodge, but those who are not so adventurous can also enjoy this very special place in itself. My favorite spot for sunny days was in the meadow by the stream, where you can dip into the clear mountain water whenever it gets too warm. And: don't miss out the hot tub in the evening. It's such a great moment when you stretch out in the large, pleasantly temperate tub, with a cold beer or a glass of wine in your hand... I have every intention of coming back - preferably in September, when everything is in bloom.

She just took care of everything and helped us a lot. The cottage itself is very very nice, equipped with just everything you'll need. The jacuzzi is fun and we we had a great time.

Excellent information leading up to the stay. Wonderful welcome gifts like freshly baked bread, farm churned butter and delicious fresh farm milk. Just fulfilled the experience for our family. Ouhout Cottage was spacious, rustic yet tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were polite and assisted in any manner or form. The Farm Stall was a delight and were privileged to watch them milk the cows up front. Well worth it, book early to avoid disappointment. Professionally run establishment which only lends to a better experience.

The owners are welcoming, warm and friendly, and offer any help they can, handing out eggs from their chicken and offering a canoe for great lake trips. One of the most beautiful and exquisite stays of my whole trip.

Riverbend Chalets (Gold Crown Resort) is set within the scenic Drakensberg Garden and boasts views of lush landscapes and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. I love the fact that there is games inside the facility. And karaoke night was very entertaining and we very much enjoyed ourselves

Located around a privately owned lake with views of the Drakensberg mountain range, Sani Valley Nature Lodges offers secluded chalet accommodation in a tranquil setting with game viewing... Vistas are superb. Staff are excellent. Food options were really tasty and good value. Really relaxing location with lots to do and see
