Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Wow, what an amazing experience to stay at The Fernery. This is one of the places we will remember for a long time. The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The Jacuzzi and Hot Tub ambiance also fantastic. The breakfast by wide margin the best in South Africa. Dinner was also very good and fairly priced.

Lilitha Boutique Hotel-East London ligger i East London og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og morgenmad med engelske/irske retter samt en solterrasse med swimmingpool. The place is extremely peaceful, beautiful and the staff was friendly. I liked their setup with everything. The food was nice also. It’s definitely a place to go for, I highly recommend it. ✌️

Spandau Manor ligger i Graaff Reinet, 13 km fra Valley of Desolation og 9 minutters gang fra Anglo-Boer War Memorial. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition, en udendørs swimmingpool og en have. The location was great for us. We chilled out the first afternoon on a private patio overlooking a delightful garden. Our favorite coffee/lunch shop was only a block or so away. It was also convenient for the activities we had planned for both days. Would definitely stay again.

Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp byder på en intim stor safari-oplevelse, og der bydes på boma-bål og grillfaciliteter. Det ligger i Amakhala Game Reserve. Everything about this whole experience was phenomenal. We had no expectations but what we saw and did was beyond our comprehension. We are very grateful to have the opportunity that Quartermaine’s provides. We got 4 game drives, unexpectedly 3 of these was just us with the guides Liam and David as the other 4 guests were out on walking trail. These guides are extremely knowledgeable, great people and sense of humour. Went out of their way to make it all memorable. Our game drives were fantastic, with 2 very close encounters with the Elephant Herd and later Lion immediately beside or around us. Saw all the other animals at close range too. The animals and scenery were unforgettable, we appreciated stopping at the middens of early human camps. Full explanations of all the animals and plants When we had a bit of rain and wind, we got rain ponchos, blankets, even hot water bottles. The camp itself was very 1920s authentic with twists of luxury. The Hot tubs under South Afrikan skies - sensational. Loved all the food cooked on the fires, the home made bread & food, delicious. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are available at all times, even on drives with amazing views. The Lions roaring at night and the Elephant outside our tent at night added extra thrill, always felt safe though. We don’t have the words to describe the experience or to say thank you enough. Thunzi Bush Lodge ligger i rolige omgivelser i naturparken Maitland og tilbyder indkvartering i landlig stil med egen forplejning, traditionel indretning og balkon med udsigt over skoven. The place was well kept and very nice views of the bush from the Charlet. We quite enjoyed the hiking trail which was a good distance to walk.

Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodation and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. What a lovely quiet place. Super friendly personnel. Great breakfast. Beautiful and spacious suite. We loved all of it!
