Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. This lodge is absolutely amazing from the warm and comfortable rooms to the delicious food and the awesome staff who ensure your every need is met. I loved the views and everything about this stunning lodge. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

They also provided us with a super nice early take-away breakfast at 5:30 AM. The owners were super nice and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back to Port Elizabeth.

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. The whole experience was great. Wish we could have stayed more.
